First of all....

What is shit,I am shit to in gaming...

I do understand that if you are shit in game, you want to get better.

My advice is play play and play.

Look how others are playing the game. We can't be the best in everything.

For me I don,t care about if I am a shitty player. It,s all about the fun what we have in gaming.

Try to squad up with the better players so it is easy to get kill's.

Be support or medic so when you revive or give ammo you get points.

Be positive.

Delete that line under your posting.

Just have fun Eragon. That is the most important thing there is.

And don't forget you have not the best internet.

Greetings and a good day m8.

You need to know ALL the map and know it well.
Know where people will hide and wait so you can surprise them.
Know where you can hide to.

Don't be afraid to die, is only a game.

Join in a good squad(VIVA ), they will get you into the fight at front line.
Use the mini map, look out for enemy round corner.

Dont be angry if you do not win, but have fun too like Divxion say.
If medic revive, if support drop ammo, be useful to your team.

Try find best weapon for you and map, shotgun ok for close fight in lockers, but AEK is good all round weapon, Famas is fast but hard to kill more than 2 or 3 people(not enough bullets.)

Practice in empty server to see how your weapon fires, some weapon you have to pull down with mouse or maybe down and left,
Just fire all rounds at target on wall and make sure they all close to target, practice and more practice.
This is what I do when locker is empty, I try different weapon and see how it fires.

I have 1700 hours in locker. I to am shit on other maps, especially with armour/tanks/jets.

Maybe a gaming keyboard might help, so you can program keys how you like them.

Also pre-fire.

- You should have a little try of every weapon until you find the one that suits you the best, everyone has his own play-style, so, not every weapon is meant for everybody.
When you found those you play better with, then train with them.

- Don't rush like a fool in the middle of the hallway, always be ready for enemy company, you should always be able to jump to a save place if needed. If you feel like you won't make it to the cover; throw a grenade or a flash or whatever could distract him, even if you don't hit the enemy it can give you extra time to find cover.

- Learn to use the mini-map, also from the setting you can make the mini-map a bit bigger and adapt the scale to see more than 4meters around you. And use that map, it helps a lot :) Certainly once you know the map well enough.
For instance, I once threw C4 on the stairway at C on OP Locker, I was almost at D and thanks to my mini-map setting I could see that someone was on the stairs, I just triggered the C4 and killed him even though I was far far away :P (I don't remember who it was though but we laughed :p)

I am not a pro at all, but I never used those little tricks until 2 or 3 years ago and it helped me a lot.

In regular gamesessions i recommend to dont play too long and play in regular intervals for example like you would do when you go to a gym or something. I noticed I am most efficient in the first 2-4 rounds and will get shittier the longer i play which does not help my skill at all.

Also try to stay as calm as possible and try out things which may dont fit your current gameplay.

Another advice is to do any fitness or sport for your body, does not matter which one (live healthy in general). It is to keep a balance and your concentration. Any serious E-Sports team do fitness and eat healthy and dont play 24/7.

My only piece of advice is when you have an legendary round - time to stop for the day.

Or at least take a break and enjoy how it feels to be awesome.

Maybe the fact it doesn't happen to me often is a driver there... but still...

All my VIVA friends are right. Map knowleage, try all weapons and find the best for you or just have fun.

But when you ask me 90% of all casual players playing with wrong Mouse/Gamesettings and they didnt know that is wrong.

PS. Its my Birthday :rock_on::rock_on::rock_on:

I would say patience and persistence is the key to becoming better. Use your wits to outplay your opponents. Aim, prefire, awareness etc. comes after you do this for a while. Think of where to move, where to hide and when to fire. Be active, don't stand in one place for more than a minute as your chances of getting killed are increased exponentially. Always use minimap - its your spider sense.

Try weapons "naked" at first and add some attachments whilst trying, before adding a new one to find the ones that suits you.

If you only play locker, having an active squad is key, as you will have the opportunity to spawn closer to the action and they will most likely?!!? give you ammo and revive/heal.

Also, never use smoke and laser sight combo, everybody can see you through that smoke ;)

Definitely learning the maps would be the best start, try and learn where it's common for people to be and then try and flank those positions.

Use your minimap as much as possible, all the information you need is on there. (I've been playing a lot of BF1 recently and the lack of positions on the mini map has ruined me!)

As far as weapons go they are all fairly balanced to the point that there are no real stand outs. As others have said the AEK is a good choice but if you're going as support then I'd recommend the AWS (is it premium? Can't remember).

Another thing that I see a lot is that people will generally stand and shoot until they get someone or they are killed, don't be afraid to run away and try again from a different angle, most of the time the person shooting at you will run to follow you, simply wait for them around a corner.

If your play style is close quarters then use shotguns or fast firing PDW weapons (mp7 ftw) other wise if you prefer long distance learn to burst fire and control the recoil.

Most importantly though... HAVE FUN!

Yes, I love it when people do this! :)) Especially on obliteration as there is no red-zone. Can easily add up like 10-20 kills on the same guys there :D

Hi, I was unfortunately banned on your servers today. I must have said something I should not and for that I am sorry. I hope you can forgive my "insensitivity" and let me stay. I'll behave. Cheers!

      Greetings,
So I just found out I am banned from your Silk Road 24/7 server. I don't even recall that I was banned because well I've never been banned from any server before as far as I know. However, it did say in the notice that I was banned for "Abusive language, wishing death". My soldier name is "-SYR-MALEKRM". I would be grateful if you could tell me what I wrongfully said so that I can do what is neccessary to get unbanned. I apologise in advance for my behaviour if I had said something wrong, I must have been mad at someone I suspected of cheating/hacking.
      Many thanks
      Malek

      Hello fellow soldiers !

I am happy to inform VIVA about the upcoming Bigwars. This tradition started way back in the 1942 days and continued through Battlefield 2. We are so happy to see the fabulous spectator system from DICE and the commander is back in Battlefield 4. Bigwars are organized events with radio discipline, but unformal and everyone is invited to take part. Battlefield.no is much like we imagine VIVA is, but more about that in the end of this announcement. A lot of our players enjoy the VIVA servers and play with you on a regular basis.
BIGWAR is organized play with 33 players on each side, including commanders. We put each squad in separate channels on voip with the squad leader as the only player in the squad that communicates with the commander. The commanders job is to keep the tactics and relay information between the squads, as the commander is the only player that has the strategic overview, and need the squad leaders to execute orders. We play this in classic mode, focusing on communication and team-play. For intencity and strategic gameplay the 3D-spotting is turned off and Squad Leader spawn only. Choose your targets carefully as friendly fire can be deadly and even loose the push your team is trying to achive.
We have kept this concept alive since the BF2 days and in total we have done over 100 Bigwars. The Bigwars arranged by Battlefield.no are open to all players, and it does not matter if your a veteran or a new player - everyone is welcome to join. We have seen new relations between players have been made, just by being a part of the Bigwars, new clans and even new communities. Bigwars are a social event in the Battlefield series. Even players from DICE have joined as players in Bigwars, after all...some of the developers at DICE started playing at Battlefield.no back in the days and made map mods, new game modes etc. We want to get VIVA involved and play together. Bigwars against other communities are the most popular, and a good way to get to know eachother. We have a friendly tone and Bigwars are not typical e-sport, but more a get together and have fun for 3 hours. Depending on how your community wants to arrange it, the planning and the time leading up to the Bigwar can be just as fun as the match itself.

Matches will be broadcasted on our YouTube Channel in full HD and with commentaries. As broadcasting goes, we cater to the Scandinavian public and emulate a real TV broadcast, but we invite VIVA representative as a guest commentator - this will make it more interesting to your players and public. In ours treams we try to add a segment from gaming personalities that have contributed to the Battlefield series, as examples we have the Swede & JankMan who where one of the first streamers in the world that featured Battlefield on national TV, and maybe the first to actually stream gaming to the public back in the days. On another Bigwar we featured Daskro.
Since we started up in Battlefield 4, and continued the tradition that began in 2003, we see how popular this event has become in Norway and we wish to thank both Sweeden and Denmark who have provided us with even more exciting matches. The Bigwars are phenomenal community building events and we try to host 1 special event each month against other communities or countries. We wish to invite VIVA to take part and "spread the good word". At the end of the day, we all spend a lot of time in the game. So, why not get together and do something fun?

Some of our most popular events filled up in under 1 minute after we opened the signups, and players where hitting F5 so hard that the server actually broke due to interest for our Bigwars at Battlefield.no. "this is a huge and exciting reward for us, we do this on our spare time and for the fun of Battlefield multiplayer", says one of the admins for Bigwar concept.

      ABOUT BATTLEFIELD.NO
hellfragger.no/battlefield.no is a gamer community open for everyone that wants to enjoy the multiplayer experience, or gaming in general. Much like we imagine VIVA. The forums where started in 2002 and have grown to gather over 27 000 members, mainly Norwegian and Scandinavians. We also invite members to contribute to the community with voluntary work as game and server administrators, web-technology and development, news desk and a variety of activities tied to the games we host. In other words, we are not bound to any economy goals, nor are we paid for the work we do. We host some of Scandinavia's largest server parks for varied games - all free of charge, and for the joy of the multiplayer experience.

hellfragger.no/battlefield.no is linked to a greater network called Community Nanny, which serves as a starting hub with ready infrastructure to start game-communities. This totals 6 communities(at this time) plus Multigamer.no, who are our main body and sponsor-link to servers and fiber-communications, they also rent out servers for clans and groups of players. We feel our site and network cover a wide range of users and readers.
